Al Boustan, a Lebanese restaurant in the heart of Paris, is embarking on an exciting rebranding to reflect its authentic essence and renewed passion for the cuisine of its homeland. With this new image, it seeks to capture the rich Lebanese heritage and offer a culinary experience that blends tradition with a modern approach, all while maintaining its commitment to the quality and familial warmth that have always set it apart.
In Arabic, Al boustan means garden, so with the rounded and organic shapes, I sought to reference the forms found in a garden and the life that inhabits it. The same applies to the chosen typefaces, both characterized by their rounded shapes. Modifications have been made to the Thistails Sans Regular font to make it more organic and reminiscent of the idea of a garden.
As the main icon, and as part of the logo, I have chosen an olive, since olive trees are a fundamental aspect of Lebanon, and the production of Lebanese olive oil is very important for the country.
This proposal was not chosen by the client, as they preferred the other option. However, I believe this proposal is the one that truly reflects my style. I hope you like it as much as I do!
